Getting There
We are so excited to celebrate with you! Since many of our guests will be traveling internationally, here are the easiest ways to get to Puebla.
Option 1: Fly Directly to Puebla (PBC)
You can fly directly into Hermanos Serdán International Airport (PBC) in Puebla. Once you arrive, you can easily take an Uber to your hotel.
Nonstop from Newark (EWR)
There is a nonstop flight from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to Puebla (PBC) operated by Volaris. This is a new route with flights departing Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
From JFK via Cancun
A comfortable option is flying JFK → Cancun → Puebla (PBC). Cancun's airport is easy to navigate and this tends to be a smooth connection.
From JFK via Houston
You can also fly JFK → Houston → Puebla (PBC).
Option 2: Fly to Mexico City (CDMX)
Another very common option is flying into Mexico City International Airport (AICM). No matter where you're departing from, it's usually easy to find frequent flights here. Airlines that fly directly from JFK to Mexico City include Delta, Aeroméxico, VivaAerobus, and American Airlines.
Bus from Mexico City to Puebla
Once you arrive at AICM, we recommend taking a 2.5-hour bus ride to Puebla. Buses depart directly from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 and arrive at Terminal Paseo Destino in Puebla. The two main bus companies are ADO and Estrella Roja, with multiple departures every hour. Tickets typically cost around $25 USD.
Our wedding will take place at the Museo San Pedro de Arte, located in Puebla's beautiful Centro Histórico. We recommend staying in or near the historic center, where you'll be close to restaurants, museums, and many of the city's main attractions. In addition to these options, we encourage guests to explore Airbnb, especially if you're traveling with a group or looking for a longer stay.
